Commissary Closure Moved to Mondays

The Commissary will now be closed on Mondays instead of Wednesdays when the Furloughs kicks in. Originally DeCA had announced that they would close on Wednesdays but that has now changed to Mondays. The Commissary closure change is the result of an agreement between DeCA and the union which represents the federal employees at the Commissary. If the Commissary is already closed Mondays, which many are, it will instead remain closed on the next regularly scheduled open day. So if

Commissary Report Card 2012

It looks like it has been a good year for the Commissary. In 2012 the Commissary had historic numbers in savings, shopping transactions and sales. If you are curious, here is a look at some of the facts from the Commissary Report Card 2012:

Coupons.com has rolled out yet another site remodel. This new lay-out is designed to make the site “easier to use” but they are also attempting to make the changing of zip codes more difficult. Commissary Rewards Card ~ My Opinion on It

After talking about it for over a year the Commissary has officially rolled out the Commissary Rewards card. Some are excited to see its arrival. Personally I think it will be great for casual coupons but an absolute mess for avid couponers.
